Emmy

The team of db&w is proud to again have helped a customer with db&w software to win an Emmy® Award.

This time for an outstanding original interactive program.

Congratulations to our friends from JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory). We are happy that exrTrader Pro and infiniMap Pro have been used to make these outstanding pictures.

For those who want to see more, please have a look at: InSight Mars Landing. InSight Mars stands for Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport mission to Mars.

Below is a section of the B-roll that includes one of the animations using both infiniMap Pro for the Mars textures as well as exrTrader Pro to render in layers.

Video file for media and public use. NASA's next mission to Mars, Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport, on InSight, will be the first interplanetary launch from the West Coast. InSight's launch period opens May 5, 2018, and extends through June 8. InSight will launch into space from the U.S. Air Force's Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

InSight will use a suite of instruments to study the deep interior of the Red Planet. Its scientific goals are to learn how all rocky planets, including Earth and its Moon, first formed. InSight's instruments include a seismometer to detect marsquakes for the first time, and a heat flow probe that will embed itself as deep as 15 feet (4.6 meters) below the surface of Mars.
