infiniMap Pro V1.06 - 32- and 64bit Windows
The PDF manual has not been updated to reflect these latest changes.
infiniMap Pro now consists of two more plugins, please re-add the infiniMapPro.p plugin file (using the Edit Plug-Ins panel) to LightWave.
This is a list of bugfixes and changes since Version 1.0.5a of infiniMap Pro:
Fixed bugs: - UV mapping now works as expected with multi-threading and a Quality setting of 100%
-
Front Projection mapping now works as expected with a Quality setting of 100%
New Features: - Added a scene master plugin to control the maximum amount of memory the ECW/J2K library used by infiniMap Pro may allocate. This plugin is called "infiniMap Settings" and may be added using the Master Plugins panel. The default value of 128MB should be sufficient in most cases. If memory runs low when rendering, this setting can be lowered down to 16MB. The settings are loaded and saved with the scene file.
- Added a convenience plugin called "infiniMap Settings..." which can be mapped to a key or added to a menu. It adds the infiniMap Settings master plugin to the current scene (if it hasn't been applied already) and then opens the user interface.
- Now there is a button which opens http://www.infinimap.com in the registration panel.
Known Issues: - FPrime may crash in conjunction with infiniMap if a texture layer is switched on/off or copied/pasted while FPrime is rendering. This is an inherent problem of LightWave in conjunction with FPrime and not specific to infiniMap. Please pause the FPrime render when performing any of these actions.
exrTrader V1.0b for 32- and 64-bit Windows and OSXThis release of exrTrader fixes a few minor issues that crept up after exrTrader was released. The PDF manual has not been changed. Here is a list of changes in exrTrader V1.0b: Fixed bugs: - Render Mode Settings weren't saved
- Quick Buffer Enable RGBAZ doesn't select Depth
- Extra Buffers don't get saved as image files if the output path is a UNC file name.
- The image filter saver crashed in versions of LightWave 3D prior to 8.5
- Fixed a spelling mistake in the "About..." button on the main exrTrader interface
- Fixed a potential crash when using the image saver in Modeler
Changes: - All displayed file names now display the file name in relation to the current content directory, making them shorter and easier to read. This mainly affects the description of the plugin in the image filters plugin panel of LightWave and the "Review Settings..." panel.
- Removed the option to select RGB or RGBA channels from the global settings. Images are now saved by the image saver with all channels as passed on by LightWave 3D. Render output images are always saved as RGBA.
- The exrTrader image filter export will display which images it saves when running in lwsn. This is to aid the debugging of renderfarm renders by checking the log files of lwsn.
- Added a button to access http://www.exrtrader.com from the registration panel.
A note for OSX users of exrTrader
There is a chance that the normal image saver does not work with the Open Beta of LightWave 9.2. If this persists until the final release of LightWave 9.2 on OSX we will provide a patch to make it work again. |
