exrTrader V1.4.1 released
« on: September 28, 2009, 12:29:50 PM »

We have just released version 1.4.1 of exrTrader.

This release improves compatibility with Nuke, stereo rendering and fixes an issue with presets on Windows.

The free update is available in our downloads section.

Changes since V1.4

  • Allow users to change the name of the channels saved for single channel buffers (these were hardcoded to Y). This should improve compatibility with Nuke which expects single channel buffers to be named "A" and then loads them as masks.
  • Added the %eye% variable to distinguish images when rendering using a stereo camera.
  • Windows: Moved the location of the global Presets to the documents directory for "All Users" to prevent crashes for non-admin users.

Important for Windows users.
The path to the storage of global presets has changed in the Windows version of exrTrader as of version 1.4.1
The new path is: %allusersprofile%/Documents/dbw/LightWavePlugins/
If you want to use previously saved global Presets, please copy them from the installation directory of LightWave to this directory.
The easiest way to transfer them is probably to load the settings directly, once by one, and store them as a global preset within exrTrader.

A small heads up... we've also posted a small sneak preview of one major feature in the next shaderMeister release to our forums.

As always, please do feel free to contact us with suggestions, feature requests or issues.

Cheers,
Your db&w team.
