convert 636 meg .tif ???
« on: November 15, 2006, 01:11:21 AM »

I am new to infiniMap Pro. I have a  636 meg .tif, and want to make it a .jpg2000 file.  Photoshop will not save a file that big as a jpg2000.  I have also tryed JasPer.  I can't get anything to work.  Can someone help.

Thanks,
Terry

Hi Terry,

Is there a way you can get the .tif file to me? If you have an FTP site, I can grab it from there, compress it and save it back out to that location.
The free compressors I know about compress files that are up to 500Megs in size, but not files larger than that.

Thank you very much Zareh for your generous help here.

For the future we plan to offer a small compression service, that can be reached conveniently via our website. We will keep you informed.

Best regards,
Dagmar

Sure thing Dagmar! Anything to help a fellow infiniMap user.
I think it's a great idea to offer a compression service.
